Malhar's own community Durga Pujo – five days, five moods, one Goddess, celebrated entirely by residents at Devprayag.
Utsob is the community's own Durga Pujo, run entirely by resident volunteers – no external organisers, no hired teams. First held in 2025, it brings five days of ritual worship, cultural performances, and community bhog to Devprayag, Malhar's own festival ground.
Every part of it, décor, prasad, bhog, cultural programming, the idol, security, logistics, is run by committees formed from residents themselves. Each day of Utsob carries its own ritual identity, from the quiet awakening of Shashti to the bittersweet farewell of Dashami. Timings below are as published by Team Utsob and may shift slightly closer to the date.
The day of welcome and awakening.

Malhar's very first Durga Pujo was entirely volunteer-run, no external organisers, no hired teams, just residents forming committees for décor, prasad, bhog, cultural programming, the idol, security, and logistics.
Mornings began with rituals and the rhythm of the dhaak. Evenings brought a rock band, jatra-style theatre, guest Bollywood artists, a Guinness World Record-holding magician, the dhunuchi naach, garba, and a Navadurga fashion show. The Utsob Bazaar and Utsob Bhoj Bazaar drew crowds for handmade goods and Bengali food, and the bhog sold out every single day.
